Smart Art Zone

Neo Rauch extended until September 27, 2020

The museum is open again to the public! We extended our special exhibition dedicated to Neo Rauch over the summer until September 27, 2020! We look forward to welcoming you during our normal opening times or one of our regularly scheduled tour hours. To protect your own and our staff’s health during the coronavirus pandemic and curb the spread of the disease, we would like to draw your attention to our Hygiene und and safety requirements. Before planning your visit, please note:

In order to reduce physical contact between visitors as well as staff to a minimum, we have decided that all public guided group tours of G2 Kunsthalle’s exhibitions will be canceled until further notice. You can register online for these time slots as in the past (attendance is limited to 15 individuals), but you will see the galleries during your reserved period individually rather than in a guided group. You can also visit us during our normal opening hours on Wednesday 3–8pm and Saturday 12–5pm (no reservation required).

Until further notice, we ask all visitors to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from all other individuals throughout the building. Please also wear a protective mask or cover your mouth and nose with a suitable fabric face cover for the entire duration of your visit. Wearing a protective face mask is mandatory throughout the museum (for children from their sixth birthday). Please follow the general hygiene regulations.

Your health is important to us! In order to provide special protection for at-risk groups, G2 Kunsthalle also offers individually scheduled visits for members of high-risk demographics (the elderly, people with preexisting conditions). Please contact us by sending us an email or calling us at +49 341 35573793 on a weekday for inquiries or to make an appointment.

We look forward to seeing you. Stay safe!

Verlängert bis 25. November!
MdbK meets G2

Using different strategies of appropriation they draw on a repertoire of video-game scenarios, a field whose relevance to the development of visual art has yet only been marginally acknowledged.
