The multimedia artist Ronny Bulik (*1986) is showing a five-channel video work at G2 Schaulager, which is complemented by paintings on aluminum in the anteroom.

The video work ASCHE, created for the exhibition, consists of five chapters in which Bulik deals with the effect of contemporary images in precise, audiovisual compositions.

The images are driven by electronic techno music, which Bulik produces himself. These are contrasted with classical compositions, for example by Bach, which Bulik interweaves, interlaces and overlays with his electronic sounds.

Bulik studied at the HGB from 2009 to 2022 and graduated as a master student of Prof. Michael Riedel. He won the Marion Ermer Prize in 2018. Bulik lives and works in Leipzig.
