In her diploma project, “I Know No Tightrope Walkers,” Tatjana uses the figure of the clown to explore themes such as loneliness, failed intimacy, and the contradictions inherent in romantic relationships. For her, the clown is closely connected to the concept of love, and she approaches the question of what means the clown possesses to make emotional states visible. The figure is woven subtly throughout the work, serving to unite the exhibition’s multiple components into a cohesive whole.

Tatjana Hub lives and works in Leipzig. In 2019, she began studying photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) and has been studying in the class of Heidi Specker since 2021. She will now complete her studies with this diploma exhibition at the G2 Schaulager.
